undelete program

Hi,
Iam using ME and I need an undelete program. Is there one for windows?

    First, I presume you already checked out the recycle bin and the file has
    really been deleted.

    I think there was still one in Win98 and suppose there is one in Me. But I
    recall that the operation hd to be done once rebooted in DOS mode. The drive
    had to be locked first with the LOCK command, then UNDELETE was run, then
    the drive was UNLOCKed. It was a lot of bother but worth it if it was all
    you had.

    But I would probably recommend some other program like Norton to make the
    job easier.

    In windows 98 if you delete a file you could still undelete it by using
    the undo delete
    in edit menu of win explorer. I believe Win me has it too.
