CD Player Question

I have both Windows Media Player and CD Player installed on my system (Win
98) When I put a cd in, the system automatically defaults to Media Player. I
would like to have the CD Player as the default player. Can someone tell me
how to change the default?
Thanks in advance!

Scandisk at Startup Every time.

Does anyone know what would cause Scandisk to run with the message "Windows
was not shut down properly" every time Win 98 starts? Even though it’s shut
down properly Scandisk comes up every time and wants to do a full scan.

How do I disable it from running every time but let it run when Windows is
actually not shut down right? Thanks in advance for any replies..

BIOS in OS

Hello everyone,
I’m new here and have a question.  I’m looking for a utility that will
allow me no monitor BIOS settings in the OS.  I’m running Windows 2K on
an AMD Thunderbird box and I am primarily interested in monitoring the
CPU temperature.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Al
